Issues with package getaways booked through LoveHolidays on #Liveline today. From travel arrangements being moved, hotels closing down and customers paying out of pocket for alternative flights, Joe spoke to several people who have struggled to get answers to their holiday woes.

Have used Love Holidays for last 4 Family trips incl one in April this year. Absolutely no issues & staged payment option is really helpful. You need to keep an eye on your flights separately - they don’t issue you the flight tickets/ boarding pass. You need to check in yourself

Only home from Tenerife after booking with Loveholidays and I had absolutely no problem at all with them. The instalment payment feature they have is great 👍

Joe's head will barely fit into our screens definitely not any close ups Keep out of the tax payers subsidised canteen in rte ****It took the Garda a half hour to turn up**** to keep Joe out of the canteen He had already been in and gone*****😄😄😄😄😄

Delta has completely dropped the ball on this. My family and I have been stranded at Atlanta airport for 4 days now. 0 car rentals 0 hotels (was able to get one through a rewards program 25 minutes from the airport for tonight) 0 available flights 4-5 hours in line to even talk to a person Thousands of flights canceled. Thousand of people sleeping on the floor for days. Thousands of lost bags with no one to claim them. I’ve flown over 30 times in the last 4 years and never seen anything like this even during Covid. We have two flights booked for tomorrow and hope to catch one of them to make it home.

Assistant DHS Secretary Tells Us Hilton Hotels in Minnesota Are REFUSING Service to Law Enforcement, Researching and BANNING Officers TRICIA MCLAUGHLIN: "We are seeing a widespread campaign, primarily by Hilton Hotels, to try and bar our law enforcement from being on the ground. When they were using their government emails to try and get a government rate for their rooms, they were being turned away, told that they could not get a room at these Hilton hotels. The Carlton Hotel facing the beach in folkestone has been emptied of ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS as the government want you to believe they are closing down migrant hotels What they don't tell you is the migrants were moved to hotels in Bournemouth and London They are closing the smaller hotels and filling up the larger ones and using army barracks and holiday camps and with AGGRESSIVE security like these it makes you wonder what type of people they are housing

Decisions regarding the army will be worked out. Thank you to everyone who cares about Ukraine. Thank you to everyone defending our positions on the front line and to those doing their best to bring the war back home – to Russia, where it came from. Glory to Ukraine!

The Minister of State for Midlands Hon Owen Mudha Ncube was the guest of honour. It is futile for anarchists to continue peddling a state of national crisis when we have already moved to the next stage. The people spoke through the Public Consultations and through their MPs voted for the Act.

It is no coincidence that we are seeing more and more people consistently sharing their travel stories. Travel is becoming a bigger part of how people spend their time, create memories, and experience the world. From weekend getaways to international holidays, the desire to explore is only growing. And honestly, there is very little to suggest that this trend will slow down. Tourism is going to become a much bigger and more important industry globally. The real question is whether we are preparing fast enough, with the right talent, hotels, infrastructure, and policies to support that growth.
