A iPhone 15 Pro max 512gb cost R37k at the istore. A iPhone in the UK cost £1399 using an exchange rate of R23.8 means the direct translation is R33.3k which is a R3k difference. The new store might drop the price a bit but the phone is still expensive.

Wishful thinking. Demand is so high, all this provides is another channel and better distribution for products. Apple sets the price and to an extent the margins. They wouldn’t give distribution rights to someone who would start a price war
