"It Ain't Half Hot Mum" was shown uncut on That's TV Freeview channel a few years ago. However, it wouldn't be made today that's for sure, you can be sure the BBC will NEVER repeat it, other channels less problematic showing it (with disclaimers).

I grew up watching It Ain't Half Hot Mum, and still love them compared to the garbage shown today. I have all 8 seasons on dvd and will always treasure them.

We used to be able to poke harmless fun at others as well as ourselves but not any more if we value our lives it seems!

It’s got to the stage at least 50 percent of the programs we watched in the 70’s and 80’s are banned from ever being seen again. Don’t think we will see a re run of in sickness and in health anytime soon…..

The very last episode was brilliant, expertly written

Never bothered to watch the initial run but on watching the repeats over the last couple of years found it hilarious . When I heard that Spike Milligan with his army background said it was his favourite of all the comedy shows then that was good enough for me to give it a try .

Used to watch this when I got in from Cub Scouts in the 70's 😂
