A year ago, I received a letter from UnitedHealthcare that was meant to scare me into silence. I documented parts of the last year that I haven’t shared before. That morning, as I processed the shock of what was happening on my drive to the hospital, I turned on my phone and started recording. As I spoke to you, my resolve developed. I knew what I had to do. I had to stand up for the truth, my patients, and myself. Even though I was terrified, I found peace and purpose in that moment. Days later, when I shared the threatening letter with you all, you stood with me. I know we are far from done, but I share this now to remind you of the good we can do together.

A few years ago Jessi asked me if I would be interested in being her next co-host for the Bardown Beauties Podcast. People have always asked me how that came to be and this is how. I knew of Jessi when I started working with the Wild, and interacted with her initially when I was a guest on the podcast and then she and Alexis were guests on the show I hosted for the Wild at the time. But, the first summer I spent working for DaBeauty League was where I went from knowing Jessi as a professional and got to know Jessi on an incredibly personal level. This was the stuff we did that summer. We talked about life, we had fun, and she signed herself up to get some of her hair shaved off. This is one of the videos I’ve watched over and over these last few days because this is where it really all started and I’m forever grateful for it.

Some moments stay with you. 🌸 During the 2025 election campaign, we were driving through when, out of nowhere, I saw a bouquet of flowers coming towards me. I reached out, caught it, and before I knew it, we had driven on. I never got the chance to properly thank the person who had made such a thoughtful gesture. So imagine how lovely it was to finally meet her! I was able to tell her that I remembered that moment, that her kindness meant something to me, and, most importantly, that I still have the bouquet. Campaigns move quickly. There are crowds, long days and countless encounters, but it is often the simple, genuine acts of kindness that you remember long after. Thank you for that beautiful gesture and for the love and support behind it. It was such a pleasure finally meeting you.

One of the best feelings I ever had. “I was supposed to here at Colney watching game the boys the staff because that's what they wanted, I couldn't. I think 20 minutes later, before the game, I had to leave I couldn't bring the energy that I wanted think it their as to watch it to be and see what outcome would be… “I went home. I went outside to the garden. I started to build some fire. And I started to do some barbecue. I didn't watch any of it. I was just hearing some noises in the background, in the living room. And suddenly, the magic happened… “My oldest son opened the garden door. He started to run towards me, he started to cry, he gave me a hug and said, we are champions, Daddy. “And then my other two boys and my wife came over and it was beautiful. Just to see that joy on them as well, that they are always with me, it was magical.” 🥹❤️
