It appears Emmet Sheehan just intentionally kept the first MLB hit ball for Cam Devanney. The team asked for the ball. The umpire threw Sheehan a new ball and he clearly switched it in his glove.

This umpire initially called the runner coming home out. The catcher drops the ball and then the umpire rules him safe because of the dropped ball. Then the catcher after a couple of seconds goes and tags the runner and the umpire calls him out. I don’t know what game the umpire is watching but it clearly isn’t this one. And I don’t know where he received his training. After the catcher dropped the ball, if he thought the runner didn’t touch home he should have made no call. But clearly he does. What do you think? Was he safe or out?

Goal or No Goal The rule👇 👉 That is NOT a goal. It’s an offence for preventing the goalkeeper from releasing the ball, and play should be stopped. The restart would be a free kick to the goalkeeper’s team. When would it be a goal? •If the goalkeeper completely released the ball, •the ball was clearly free in the air, •and the striker then kicked it and scored, 👉 That IS a valid goal.
