it blows my mind how correct she is

at first pass you think what she’s saying is crazy, but then you hear her argument and think about your own favorite artists and you’re like oh she’s right. she can back up statement bc she’s built a world with her music, which is something she’s talked about since the start

@hellopugh I still wanna know who she whispered

@hellopugh "it's yung lean" period

@hellopugh Gotta disagree. Artists of the 60s and 70s have made classic music before music videos or social media or stan culture but only the music

stan culture predates the internet like the beatles mania? artists were creating worlds and aesthetics back then too bc if you think of an artist I bet you see something visually in your head right?

@hellopugh She is right for 90% of the population that don't actually like music as much as they think they do. Charli is a different kind of artist using music as a tool. We didn't have an AG Cook summer. Composing is not brat. It's a very unsexy technical craft, more like basket weaving.

@hellopugh she definitely whispered taylor swift
