If MOST of Maine is against abuses against women and girls, it's not showing in their choice of Governor or most of its legislature. Who is paying for those sitting in Maine's legislature, where is their money coming from? What voting mechanisms are broken so much that the citizens of Maine are not being represented at all?

I don't know why White women bother with having these hairstyles done, but you can tell that the braider did it as tight as possible to maximise pain. And the OP and the commenters support that theory. They just enjoy inflicting pain. It's who they are. And they're not going to change just because you're nice to them, so stop trying. Don't be friendly to them. Don't buy anything from their businesses. Don't pay pay for their services. Just disengage from them entirely.
