Mayoral elections have been underway in six regions across England too. Labour managed to hold on to North Tyneside but by the skin of their teeth with a majority of just 444 following a huge swing to Reform. For Greater Lincolnshire, it looks to have been a different night altogether. Reform claim their candidate Andrea Jenkyns - a former Conservative bigshot - is on course to win. Jonathan Swain reports.
