When somebody tells you “no” it’s only the start of the story. Last year, I took our kids golf bags to a local embroidery shop and asked them if they could embroidery on the bags. It was the quickest “no” I have ever heard. So, I kept digging and went down a rabbit hole. I knew it was possible. Eventually, I visited a manufacturer in the Twin Cities who had the embroidery machine I was looking at. We verified it could work. So, I made the largest investment in the business to date. I bought our own machine and learned how to run it. It’s been 75 days since we started offering personalized kids golf bags. In that time, we have embroidered 400 toddler golf bags 🤯 Just a simple reminder to keep on digging even when somebody tells you “no.”

I remember working on this shot early in the morning before work, and one day when the rough #animation was complete, I went to open the file and it was corrupted. By some miracle I was able to get it working again, but I think this took me the better part of a week to animate.

Blimey! This was a challenge to find. The Brewery Tap pub in Brentford right now. It’s even in my book of Greatest pubs, but when I just came to find it I got totally confused and had to get Google maps out! The street is completely changed since I was here. None of these buildings existed when I last came. Just mentioned to the landlady and she said yes, they’re thinking of having a box of medals on the bar to anyone who manages to find the pub. I’m celebrating finding it with a glass of wine. Cheers 🥂

No matter how many times you fall, you have no choice but to get up again. Figure skating is a place where applause comes from every direction, even from within. You clap for your effort, your courage, your growth and even bad days. When I skate, I am reminded that my journey is mine alone. Every glide is a voice saying I survived. Every spin is a reminder that my spirit still dances. I keep thinking about this garden hose. This is what I found at my house when I was able to check on it, mid-fire. Fully extended, by the fence. A neighbor or firefighter used it to fight the fire on the edge of my property. Whoever it was helped save our house. 🙏🏻 #PalisadesFire
