Idc if you like Donald J. Trump or not the man is a father, a husband, a human being. He’s never harmed you. If you’re one of the people who think what happened yesterday is okay or “he deserved it” you’re a sick person, and need help. How about you stop being a vile human being and start doing what you can to make this a better country instead of thinking it relies on who is/is not our President. We’re overly consumed with Skill and not focused enough on what it takes to be a WINNING and PRODUCTIVE PLAYER. The more skilled you are, the better chance of success you have. But it doesn’t matter how skilled you are if you do t have any understanding of the game, your decision making sucks, you’re not resilient or productive. Look at winning College and NBA players…. It’s typically not the ‘skill’ that separates the winners from the losers

If you want to be a successful trader, you really need to want it. If you think you’re gonna do this on the side, you know make some money and then go do some photography or art the rest of your life, you’re not gonna make it. It needs to be your calling; otherwise, you can just put your money in the index funds and be better off. You need to be a little bit obsessive like you can’t focus on too many other things. It’s the same way with everything. If you want to be top performer in any field, it’s the same thing - that needs to be your main focus. You can’t do anything else. It needs to be your main focus."

There’s an iconic line from the movie Up In The Air: “How much did they pay you to give up on your dreams? And when were you going to stop and do what makes you happy?” Look, we all have bills to pay. We do what we have to do to make ends meet and put food on the table. Providing is something to be proud of, but… Don’t sacrifice your dreams along the way. Don’t wake up at 50 (or 60) and realize you’re no closer to your best life than when you started. 👉 Treat your job as a means, not an end. Slowly—over years and decades—gain more control. Become the person you are on vacation. That’s the real you. Now you’ve got a life you don’t need to escape. (P.S. I’m not talking about living a life of leisure. Humans need work and skin in the game. The goal isn’t to retire—it’s to choose your work and do it on your terms. That’s as good as it gets.)

CK on birthright citizenship sounds a lot like Clarence Thomas: "If you think you can just get on a Delta Airlines flight from Paris and all of a sudden your kid becomes a U.S. citizen, that devalues the meaning of what it is to be a citizen... It's not our job to open up our borders to every sad story around the place..." "The point being is this and President Trump's executive order is phenomenal. It goes back to this very basic question what does it mean to be a citizen? And we're throwing around citizenship like Frisbees every day. You're a citizen. You're a citizen. You're a citizen.
