Naive from Biggar. Owen is exactly the bloke you need for a Lions test series. We don’t need cover at 15, we have two 15s who haven’t even played a minute yet. And 12 cover light with only sione, to have a voice like Faz jnr will be massive

Let’s all stop beating around the bush. He’s there cause his dad’s the coach, Tom Jordan is the obvious pick who covers every area in the backs and plays regularly. Even Freddy Stewart or Kyle Rowe is a better pick for the position.

Please bear in mind that a) There is clearly a leadership gap. Itoje doesnt exactly light you up. . b) Finn Russell had ice on his arm on Wednesday and c) Farrell is, if nothing else, a big game player. It's not that difficult to understand.

Fairplay to Dan for calling it out for what it is . absolutely makes no sense an absolute joke selection.

Farrell snr immediately on the defensive yesterday about the call up, insinuating that the ordinary fan did not possess the intellect to grasp this decision. He came across as an arrogant prick truth be told, the decision smacks of blatant bias and nepotism.

Well said - tough one for Darcy Graham and Blair Murray who both made the URC team of the year.

Dan Biggar. Nails it. Give him a pay rise and a contract.

💯% from Biggar as usual, please replace Greenwood the goon permanently

Well said Dan Biggar. A pundit/ex player with the balls to say it for what it is. We all wish Owen and the team well. However it’s a strange old decision given his lack of form and fitness and risks upsetting the mood in the camp.

Don’t understand the outrage over picking Owen Farrell. The best player in England over the last 10 years, 3 Lions tours, test match animal and an absolute winner. I’d much rather have Farrell off the bench than a young experienced Fin Smith and the mercurial Marcus Smith
