This is a false and misleading argument @seunokin. Electronic transmission is different from electronic voting. It is about results management and transparency, and it works well with paper ballots. Nigeria already uses a dual system: paper voting plus scanning and uploading results from polling units.

It makes a lot of sense actually. For where there is no network and it is locked in the BVAS will transmit as soon as it has network. Its like sending a message on whatsapp. Its "sent" or "transmitted" instantenously but it is only recieved after it the sending device connects to a network allowing it go to the recieving device (that of course has network). People saying these things dont understand technology or are being deliberately obtuse
