I checked my house every day it was being built. Caught construction guys throwing their garbage around the foundation of my house. It was pointed out and resolved.

Ran a termite company. “Cellulose debris” was the official euphemism for the scrap wood and cardboard contractors leave under houses. 😂😂😂

Guy finds one brick and now every builder in America buries his waste onsite?

I'm a landscaper which means I'm the last one in to do the yard. Can confirm. Cocksuckers hide all the waste 6 inches down.

At my last house, we were building a Koi pond, and in the process of digging the hole for the pond, I ended up digging up at least a half pallets worth of bricks! So annoying.

Its called fill. What a waste of time digging that brick up. Pat yourself on the back for this amazing revelation.

Two years ago I ripped up some bushes along the back of the house. There was a ton of broken bricks and bits from when they built the fireplace.

Used to build retaining walls and anything extra was thrown in with the back fill gravel. If any of them ever have to come down it's going to be the shittiest treasure hunt ever

I dug up a lot of my yard over the years for pathways, playgrounds, etc. found some crazy stuff while digging. All sorts of bricks and even pieces of road. Just whatever garbage they could fill the lot i suppose

Yup, did a hole and fill it up. Everytime.

They backfill all of the time. It's one of the reasons sod goes in last.

In Vegas they don't landscape your back yard. Buyer is responsible. The crap we found, ridiculous. We removed a fireplace and found ketchup packets in the wall, not in English.

We used to intentionally leave trash a few feet above a repair in case something failed. It’s a signature.

I found a bicycle that was in the backyard that had been buried in the dirt with sod placed over.

It depends what has been built there over the last 50 years. Back in the 70s, they dug a hug, deep pit and dumped leftover construction materials in the pit. Then covered it up.

I redid my gas fireplace last year. Found a half eaten but sealed can of Pringles from 2005.
