I lived in family court for years. Everything in this case saddens me, but it doesn't surprise me at all. I've seen magistrates and judges flat-out ignore critical evidence, just make up stuff, and believe blatant lies. The whole system is a mess.

My heart is breaking, my body is shaking and my blood is boiling all at the same time. That poor woman and those poor babies especially 💔😡

I read yesterday that he has been suspended from his law firm, and that they are doing an investigation.

The kids will grow up, and not want a relationship with their father. And older generations will blame the children for disrespecting their parent that raised them. The court let down these children, and their mother.

Isn't this a textbook example of parental alienation? It simply doesn't count when it's the mother and the father has money and "friends".

From what I understand she survived cancer while suffering constant abuse only to have the cancer return w/a terminal diagnosis. She unsuccessfully fought her ex for months while dying & finally chose assisted suicide. She left a detailed suicide note that'll break your heart.

Adults are horrible about giving their adult problems to children. Children should never have to take on an adult problem.

Those girls need to be removed for their own safety. It breaks my heart that they're living with that horrible abuser. He needs to rot by himself somewhere.

That's not a father, that's a waste of oxygen. A piece of human garbage. HE should've been the one to leave this earth not the mother. I know our system for protecting children isn't the best but I really hope those children are take out of this situation as soon as possible.

My neighbor, whose house is about 3 acres from mine, sounds much like this guy. That is how loud he screams obscenities at the children. I've never heard his wife raise her voice. And CPS does absolutely nothing about verbal abuse.

This is horrifying on every level and someone needs to remove those children from his household.

This is proving that some ppl have never seen their family with love but a duty they felt they never signed up for, bc this "father" BLEEDS hate everywhere. I wouldn't be surprised of he later admits that his children were a mistake and wish they never existed.

Infuriating! But there’s no way I would leave this world and leave my kids with someone like that. I would have taken him with me. Those kids would be better off in the system, but hopefully have family members who care.

And I’m sure he presents like the model father in court. I use to see guys like this all the time. Made my creepometer go way up. And it pisses me off the way judges ignore/dismiss the dynamics of DV. Verbal/psychological/controlling behaviors are often worse than the physical.

The war on women and children continues.

And he's still going to work every day? He sees clients? These clients are okay with him? His employer (if he has one) is okay with him? Those poor little girls are going to have emotional scars that will last a lifetime. Shame on our system of law.

The kids are scarred. No $$$ therapy can reverse the effects of such parenting from the “father”. Sadly, the mother will not be there to provide the love and guidance. This case is known because of the recordings. Imagine the many other family cases that were never documented…

I could not imagine this getting any worse. I didn't understand that she died by suicide. Why isn't child protective services stepping in to protect these children. Are they in Las Vegas? How can we help these children.

He used power as a lawyer & bankrupt her in court. She took down a few corrupt ones, but he still won & him & his gf have custody. Sadly she ended her life with dignity due to her cancer. He’s still practicing lawyer. Judges, lawyers, therapists, etc all in his pocket

This is a heartbreaking story to read. My heart goes out to those poor girls…having a heartless monster for a “father.” He took them away from their mother and terrorized them. Karma will come for him…those girls will know what he did and they will stay away from him.
