This lady bought a $100 Home Depot gift card at Target 🎯as a token of appreciation for a client of hers, however when they went to cash in the gift card they were informed that there were no monies available because of the card had already been used. This leaves the client feeling like they’ve been the victim of some kind of cruel prank and the purchaser feeling like she had been scammed. When the lady returned to Target with the receipt in hand she was promptly informed that gift cards are nonrefundable, leaving her not only frustrated but out the $100 for the original purchase price. How did it been a Target gift card the problem could have been easily remedied, but because the gift card was for a different retailer now both parties can claim they are not responsible. This is the best story EVER ❤️ Cam Booser is a pitcher who made his MLB Debut for the Boston Red Sox in April 2024. But this wasn’t any “ordinary” debut… Cam has had many ups and downs in his career, and at one point, he even retired from baseball to pursue a career as a carpenter in his father’s business. However, Cam missed baseball, and when he realized he could still throw a 98mph fastball, he unretired to pursue his baseball dream once again. At the age of 31, Cam’s dream finally came true as he made his MLB Debut. So of course, when Cam saw his 1/1 Debut Patch autograph card get pulled, he immediately reached out to the new owner to try to buy it. To Cam’s surprise, the owner refused to sell it to him, as the card had apparently already been sold to a new owner. I'm very proud and excited to have secured this amazing piece. I've been looking at this market now for 3 years and have been learning a lot. I finally decided to dive in. This asset class has a tremendous amount of funds flowing through it and this turns out to be one of the best cards on Earth, the highest price ever paid publicly. I thought this would be the beginning of a great index because we will never sell this card and we are going to continue to secure more pieces like it and build an index. I think I'm going to go for a 5% weighting like I have in gold and like I have in Bitcoin. 5% weighting in cards. I still can't believe how much interest there is in this space called The Hobby. The $53 million contract would give, Mobility Capital Finance, who the NY Mayor touts as 'Minority Owned' lots of fees for services, including: - $125,000 one-time set-up fee, - $250,000 in annual management fees - $1.5 million for the first $50 million handed out - $2.5 million for the next $100 million.
