The first person that died I ever cried over that I didn’t know. One of my favorite pictures to remember him.

Mr. Iwata was always a joy to talk to at various E3’s over the years. His passing was a very sad at one, but here’s to the memories of him staying with us, always. I wish comfort for his loved ones…especially on days like this.

I'm so glad you guys were a part of my childhood! Thank you ❤️

When I received the news of his passing I was at work. Had to find a room that was empty because I was inconsolable. I miss him SO much and there's not a day that goes by that I don't think of him and the lasting impact he had on me as a gamer...#SatoruIwata

Iwata is literally the only CEO that I have ever had an emotional connection to. Unlike every other CEO, he felt real. His passion for video games is what drove him to lead Nintendo, not just the money. He wasn't a perfect CEO, but he was the best. And I still miss him.

I’ve never missed someone I’ve never personally met so damn much. 😔 Iwata-san was an absolute legend in the truest sense of the word.

We miss him a lot. Rest in Peace Mr Iwata. Time flies but memory is, and will be there to honor it. Thanks for all dreams you put in this world.

He was the greatest to ever live. Thank you, Iwata.

Reading the behind the scenes of your relationship in your book was very touching. I still miss seeing all 3 of you guys together. The industry felt magical then. ❤️

Iwata was a legend and im sure he's smiling wherever he is on what a great job you did in his absence.
