Last week I booked a last-minute flight and stay in Cabo less than 12 hours to take-off because I was freezing my ass off at home, feeling like a “hostage” to the market. I forgot my swimming trunks and had to buy 2 of them for an eye-watering $450 USD (still wtf’ing at Grand Velas boutique)… And STILL, it was much cheaper than sitting around grinding it out when the market wasn’t there for me. Trading is one of the few professions where you can literally lose vacations/cars/houses etc AND, more importantly, TIME simultaneously while “working”. And so, I often think to myself if I’m so willing to part ways with my trading PNL, then why not just spend that on something tangible. I remember one of my biggest losing days in 2021, I decided to just buy the watch I wanted instead of waiting to feel “good” about my PNL. Our perspectives warp when we stare at numbers and desensitize ourselves to the true ups and downs. Whenever I spend the money it grounds me, “this is what this is worth”. Whenever I’m able to tip generously, especially in areas where the dollar goes farther, I feel more connected to my pursuit of trading for a living. Serendipitously making someone’s day with an outlier tip is one of my favorite things to do. Extremely hard working people who don’t get appreciated often, meanwhile we lose their salaries in pajamas… it’s madness. I just want to point out that I know people feel it, but don’t act on it. Try to exercise some of your freedoms as a trader and realize it’s okay to step away whenever you want and you don’t need permission to just do what you want when you want. You’ll probably come to so similar conclusions for yourself.

Dreams do come true My mother is my pillar of strength. As a single parent, she worked three jobs to put food on the table, despite the endless obstacles we faced. These challenges shaped me into the man, father, and son I am today. One of the biggest reasons I chase ‘financial freedom’ is so that my mum can be free. I always said to myself she had a hard 1st part of her life, hard 2nd part and I will do everything in my power to make sure the 3rd part is easy and enjoyable. I have done countless things for her and plan to do more. But recently a emotional one was I bought her a business class ticket to Hong Kong, gave her spending money for a whole month, and arranged other amenities for her. Alhamdulilah This post is meant to inspire you. It’s a reminder that ‘YOU CAN DO IT.’ Do things for the right reasons, earn an honest living, stay true to yourself, love and support your family, and appreciate those who helped you get to where you are today. To my Mum, I love you. I promise that in the coming years, there will be wonderful surprises that I’ve been working on for the past decade just for you. It wasn’t easy but it was worth it Remember, it’s You vs You, and Me vs Me. Champ out ✌🏻

I was informed that the team will be seeking a trade immediately and will be working with me and my family to find the right place to continue competing for championships. I don’t agree with the decision and always believed it was going to begin and end in LA. Still, if there’s one thing that I have learned over the years: there are so many things that are out of your control, but it is how you respond to these things that you will look back on and remember. I have taken so much pride in playing alongside my teammates for the LA community, so thank you for embracing my family and making this such a special place for us. 2024 began with one of the best training camps of my career. Preparations start now for 2025. Highly motivated, as healthy as ever, and looking forward to playing elite football for years to come. Love you guys.. But coming for it all.

I went downstairs for a coffee at my apartment in Abu Dhabi and there are 200 people downstairs who have been waiting here for over five hours to buy apartments Never in my life have I seen IRL real estate demand like this I looked into it and as an American you need a 40% down payment for homes here So if you buy a one-bedroom apartment that costs $250,000, you have to give $120,000 to get the remainder on a loan To get that loan you need to keep $10,000 in your bank for three months which isn't too hard to do It's actually like a crypto bro's dream to be able to get a loan like that because in America to get a loan as someone who has stupid crypto income is basically impossible Does anyone want to split an apartment with me? you cant be smelly
