🔴Physician Assistants strike again from the Cardiology department West Suffolk NHS FT 🏳️‍🌈 This PA has progressed very quickly from seeing patients on the ward with “junior doctors” to acting as a Cardiology Registrar, reviewing inpatient referrals within just 1.5 years! ⭕️ He is performing Echo scans with minimal indirect supervision. Imagine bombarding a patient with four different HEART FAILURE medications just because the PA didn’t assess the ejection fraction accurately. 💀☠️ ⭕️ He is learning Echo on the job, while most echo technicians spend at least one year in a full-time course! ⭕️ Why are you allowing this PA to teach foundation/IMT doctors on the ward? Any cardiology registrars in the department can teach the doctors? ⭕️ He is bragging about “providing continuity of care” while clearly stating that he is spending all of his time performing inpatient/outpatient Echo scans, reviewing patients in clinics, and seeing inpatient referrals. Meanwhile, the junior doctors are stuck on the wards drafting discharge letters and doing routine bloods like ward monkeys. ⭕️ He is planning to get involved in the Cath lab in the near future. This is appalling.

🔴 Hello St George's, University of London (1752-2024), Your Physician Assistants are boasting about working in plastic/breast surgery while junior doctors are stuck on the wards drafting discharge letters 💀 ⭕️ There is something strange about this university promoting the PA role while neglecting medical students and doctors. Do you receive money for every PA you train? ⭕️ Plastic/breast surgery is one of the most competitive subspecialties. You wouldn’t be able to work in it without a full MRCS and years of experience. ⭕️ Yet, the Assistants are assisting in theatre and seeing patients in clinics after completing a 2-year vacuous course. Doctors have lost these training opportunities. PAs are totally unqualified for this type of work. You are sitting on a lawsuit timebomb. Abort now. (Video courtesy of Dr. Luke Craddock)

🔴 Not having a pop at nurses, but I want to clarify something regarding NURSE CONSULTANTS let loose on patients in the NHS. Benenden Hospital ⭕️ This dude running the Benenden Hospital account thinks that a PhD is equivalent to a medical degree. ⭕️ He said that nurse consultants have the required experience and training to give advice to patients, without providing any evidence of standardised training similar to that of doctors. ⭕️ If I have a PhD in root canal treatment, I cannot claim to be a dentist. It is also misleading to use the title “doctor” in dental practice. ⭕️You can lecture students at uni with a PhD, but not work as a medical consultant/GP. Thanks for your attention.

☢️ I tried my best to ignore this, but concerned members of the public are sending me these videos. Seriously speaking, is this Physician Assistant really convinced that they studied “Medicine” and that they are “MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS”? ⭕️ You cannot compare a 2-year quackery course to a rigorous 5–6 years at medical school with regular assessments. ⭕️ Also, the physiology, anatomy, and pharmacology you study while learning on the job on the wards means nothing compared to a doctor’s knowledge base. ⭕️ If you want to do health promotion, get your supervisor to check your content. Advising patients who had chest pain to take 300mg of aspirin can be fatal if the underlying diagnosis is AORTIC DISSECTION ☠️. Do better.

While patients wait years for surgery and months to see a specialist, Wes Streeting and Keir Starmer are threatening to cut the number of NHS specialist doctor training jobs. Most people don’t realise this, but doctors can’t just become Consultants, Surgeons or GPs on their own. They have to get a speciality training job first. These jobs are controlled and capped by the Government. So when the Government talks about cutting speciality training jobs, what they are really talking about is cutting the number of future specialist doctors in this country. At a time when the NHS already doesn’t have enough doctors. At a time when waiting lists are in the millions. At a time when patients are waiting months just to see a specialist and years for operations. Cutting the number of specialist training jobs will not fix the NHS. It will make waiting lists longer. It will make it harder to see a doctor. It will make the NHS worse for patients. Threatening to reduce the number of future doctors while patients are already struggling to access care is not just a deliberate workforce policy decision. It is a direct threat to the NHS and to the public who rely on it, coming from a ‘Labour’ Government.

This woman is doing her own maintenance on her car by filling up her own windshield washer fluid and proudly declares that she doesn’t need a man.after she does this she notices her car is behaving strangely and takes it into the shop, when they drain her oil in the engine, the liquid that comes out is running blue. Should this woman hold off on giving up on men just yet, or should she at least learn how to look up how to do things first before she ruins her car and other things?

Meet 16-year-old Ajoke who has no recollection of previous schooling anywhere. She is a student at the Bridge Learning Centre by The Destiny Trust. She comes even on Saturdays to study on her own. BLC is targeted at older kids who dropped out of school or have never attended school. We prepare them for common entrance. They cover primary school curriculum within 3 years. She is looking like she can cover it in a year. Once they pass common entrance and enter mainstream school, we continue to do remedial classes for them in the evening and those who show capacity can do Junior WAEC from JSS2. Can you pls help us support Ajoke? 0124940702, GTB, The Destiny Trust Children Foundation #DestinyTrust #Longterm #Growth

🔴 Hello GMC, This Physician Assistant is quite excited to be regulated by the GMC, despite the fact that GMC registration will add ZERO value to her knowledge and expertise. ⭕️ There will still be an enormous chasm in the knowledge base between a PA and a medical student; 5 years of medical school cannot be compared to this quackery 2-year MSc course. ⭕️ Also, can you clarify whether you will grant them automatic prescribing rights upon registration? If the answer is yes, pharmacology books must be thrown out the window. The GMC must be realistic with their PAs that this registration will not compensate for their weak base knowledge and will never put them on par with doctors.

Have you met baby Wamata? Wamata is a 2-year-old little girl who is part elephant and part silly goose. She was rescued by my friends at the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust a year ago, when she was found alone in the bush without her mom or her herd. Now, she is living at the Sheldrick Trust nursery in Nairobi and is surrounded by other orphans who understand the pain and trauma that comes with losing their family. They support each other in life. At the nursery, Wamata will learn how to be an elephant from the older orphans, but also from her human keepers, who watch over her 24/7 and, for the younger babies, sleep next to them every night so they can be bottle fed and comforted when they wake up in the middle of the night. By the time she is between the ages of 8–10, Wamata, like all Sheldrick orphans, will make her way out into the wild — which is her birthright. She will have her own babies in the wild, and if history is any guide, she will do what many former Sheldrick Trust orphans have done and return to introduce her wild-born babies to the men who helped to raise her. Thank you to all of you who have supported the Sheldrick Trust, and thank you to all my friends at the Trust for all your dedication and hard work! I love you!

☢️ The audacity of these Physician Assistant students! I stumbled upon a video of this sheila who is talking about the public as if they are children and just need to get on with it. ⭕️ People in the UK are scared not because your “profession” is new (we’ve got PAs for around 20 years), but because PAs are unsafe and a total waste of taxpayers' money. ⭕️ PAs are nearly the only HCPs who are always keen to have a go regardless of their limitations, knowledge, and expertise. ⭕️ This is not a quick campaign targeting individual PAs; it is a serious patient safety alert.

Physician Associates are being renamed to Physician Assistants because the public was confused about their role. But here’s what’s truly confusing: A physician assistant now starts on a salary that’s nearly £10,000 more than a fully qualified doctor. Read that again. Doctors - who train for years, take on legal responsibility, make life or death decisions; are being paid less than the people assisting them. Even if doctors won full pay restoration tomorrow, they still wouldn’t be on equal footing. Wes Streeting, how on earth is that acceptable? Doctors are leaving. The NHS is haemorrhaging staff. Patients are waiting longer for their appointments because this Government refuses to fix pay and value and retain doctors. Is it any surprise doctors are striking?

"This is an agenda to substitute doctors with lesser qualified staff" Must watch interview where Dr Robert Laurenson explains how Physician Associates are dumbing down the NHS workforce "For the last 15 years Junior Doctors have seen their pay eroded by 26%... This means a doctor starting at £15 an hour should now be paid £21 an hour" Dr Robert Laurenson "The strike action has cost the government over £3 billion, and pay restoration would have cost £1.3 billion" "Did you know a Physician Associate is paid 35% more than a Junior Doctor" "What is a Physician Associate? Years ago they used to be called Physicians Assistants. The intention, so we were told was to help us with simple administrative task. But their role has morphed into something else, and it's dangerous" "Physician Associates say they are trained in the medical model. They investigate and diagnose patients and start management plans. But these are people with a two years masters degree, in comparison to a doctor with a five year degree" "They're unregulated. There are no standards for them. They see patients up and down the country in hospitals and primary care. And they might be saying they are a clinician and part of the medical team" "This is an agenda to substitute doctors with lesser qualified staff"

🔴 Hi Nottinghamshire Alliance Training Hub, The arrogance of your Physician Assistant is staggering. This PA is talking like a GP with over 30 years of experience! ⭕️ She is allowed to see care home patients/ do home visits independently in GP land 💀 + has become a primary leader after only 3 years since graduation. ⭕️ "I see patients from ‘sort of birth’ to ‘sort of death’"—yet she also said she cannot perform 6-week birth checks or verify deaths ?blatantly contradicting herself. ⭕️ I kid you not—she repeated the "birth to death" bit three times to assert a high degree of autonomy, and none of the spineless GPs at the meeting interrupted her. ⭕️ She even said she might wake up one day and decide to do a bit of Cardiology. Apparently, that’s easy—she can simply leave GP land and jump into Cardiology. Then, if she gets bored with Cardiology in 5 years, she can switch to Respiratory! What kind of quackery allows professionals to switch specialties on a whim? Even at McDonald’s, you can’t change roles that easily! Get a grip of yourself.

While patients wait years for surgery and weeks to see their GP, doctors in England are facing unemployment. This year, 40,000 doctors applied for just 10,000 NHS training jobs. Without these jobs, doctors cannot progress to become Consultants or GPs. This is not an accident. The Government has capped training posts, forcing qualified doctors into unemployment or out of the NHS altogether. At the same time, Wes Streeting is recommending a real terms pay cut for doctors in the coming months. The combination of a worsening jobs crisis and continued pay erosion is why resident doctors in England are being re-balloted. Resident doctors in England: Post your ballot back on jobs and pay now. The last safe date to post is 26th January. No ballot yet? Request a replacement by 19th January:

Asma Elhuni is the woman in the August 19 Trenton ICE videos. She runs with Resistencia en Acción NJ’s rapid-response crew, the people who work to stop a lawful arrests. She is also tied to Race Forward and American Muslims for Palestine NJ. Before that she did outreach for CAIR in Georgia. Look at the tape. She is in the middle of an enforcement operation. She is in officers’ faces. She is screaming “la migra” at Hispanics as if looking Latino is proof you are illegal. 🙄 Trenton police did the right thing and arrested her for obstruction. That is what is supposed to happen when you interfere with federal officers. This entire network needs to be held accountable. This is organized interference with immigration law. Organizations like CAIR and Resistencia en Acción belong on a terrorist designation list.
