It is completely unacceptable that the Administration is unwilling to brief Congress on the strikes in Iran. We have to make sure this regime never acquires a nuclear weapon. At the same time, the Constitution means what it says. Only Congress has the power to declare war.

Can you image POTUS telling these imbeciles his plans prior to the strike. It would have immediately been leaked!

Congress was briefed per constitutional requirements—the War Powers Resolution mandates notification within 48 hours, which the administration fulfilled. Article II grants the Commander-in-Chief authority to defend national interests without prior congressional approval when facing imminent threats. Iran’s enrichment to 84% uranium purity (far beyond civilian needs) and refusal of IAEA inspections created an exigent circumstance requiring decisive action. This wasn’t a declaration of war—it was targeted enforcement of nonproliferation red lines after years of diplomatic failure. Those fixated on process over results ignore Tehran’s 17 violations of UNSCR 2231 and the existential risk of a nuclear-armed regime threatening U.S. allies. Deterrence isn’t optional. The facts behind the administration’s response and Iran’s violations demand a closer look—see the full breakdown:

because you would leak the info. to the enemy, let the adults handle it Ted.

You need to read the document, Jack.

You say it is unacceptable not to brief Congress, but where was this outrage when past presidents, including Obama, launched strikes without immediate Congressional approval? The War Powers Act allows the president to act in defense of national interests, especially when time is critical. Trump used that authority to prevent a greater threat not to start a war. You also admit Iran must never acquire a nuclear weapon. That urgency is exactly why Trump acted. Diplomacy and endless talks have only emboldened the regime. Waiting for Congressional debates while Iran moves closer to the bomb is not leadership it is paralysis. Trump didn’t declare war. He made a strategic strike. If anything, it delayed war by showing strength and resolve. Congress can still weigh in, but pretending every defensive action requires their permission in advance ignores both precedent and reality.

What’s unacceptable is the leaks, lies and gaslighting that comes from democrats. All democrats… and you’re one of the worst.

JFC…. @SpeakerJohnson just announced you will have the briefing on Friday! Pay attention!
