Ekpoma is bleeding. Kidnappers have taken over Edo state. They now go from house to house, kidnapping families; students most especially. I have read the gory stories of the events of yesterday, & I'm very much terrified. Reports say that lives were lost in Ekpoma. Shot by the police & the army, scores were injured as well. They shot at civilians & arrested students in their hostels. Everyone should their voice to this cause, because media reports have been nothing but underwhelming. We mustn’t abandon the people of Ekpoma because the protests had EndSARS theme; Nigerian authorities are yet to learn any lesson. Many were outside; people got obviously tired of waiting to be k!lled, so they took to the streets. Now students are leaving. Freshmen want to write JAMB again, they will do anything (just to leave the school environment). School surrounding is not safe, Ekpoma itself is not! Kidnappers demand as high as N100 million from students as ransom, & kill them when they fail to raise it. Where do you want Edo students to get that large amount of money from? Children from Ekpoma protested against the insecurity in their state. And in keeping with tradition, the police opened fire as usual. Many were arrested for having the temerity to protest for their dear lives. Another kidnapping happened in a home in Ekpoma in broad daylight, around 6 O’Clock yesterday. Of course, the police were nowhere to be found! Attached is the live feed of that terrifying event. Nigeria is unbelievable! People protested against insecurity, & you pointed the end of the barrel at them BECAUSE YOU CAN, & THERE IS ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY WHATSOEVER! And where is Monday Okpebholo & Bola Tinubu? They latter promised to reduce your purchasing power & further slow down the economy, & he did! The former promised Edolites “insecurity” during his campaigns. IS HE FINALLY KEEPING THAT PROMISE? What’s wrong with the black race for Christ’s sake? WHAT IN THE HELL IS GOING ON????

There is a compiled list containing the fifty-two names, & most of them are 21 YEARS OLD!!!! At 21, the children of your politicians enjoy a sheltered life here in America, Europe, & across Asia & the Middle East. But AAU children were kidnapped from their hostels (at midnight) by the Nigerian police, BECAUSE THEY CAN!!!! At just twenty-one, those children will spend 14 days in prison for simply asking the government to protect them, & THEY ARE JUSTIFIED! That’s not all: 48 of the students were kept in that van for at least 2 hours before they were taken to prison. So shame on the Nigerian Police. Shame on Edo State Government. Shame on Governor Monday Okpebholo. This is beyond reckless, this is the highest degree of wickedness. If children of politicians are involved, will you kidnap them while they are sleeping? Would you have sent them to jail?

Children's Day Celebration In Edo State Reportedly Ends In Chaos. The updates I’m receiving is that during the Children’s Day event today in Edo State, over 50 children collapsed and were rushed to the central hospital. It is clear that the state government failed to provide proper arrangements for the event, and tear gas was reportedly fired by the government house police, causing many children to be affected. As we speak, they are in serious condition at the hospital. This is a clear failure of INEC Governor Monday Okpebholo

Security forces attacked at Agricultural College Quetta, beaten and arrested multiple students. After attacking at students of Bolan Medical College in their hostels, injuring dozens and arresting more than 128 students in bogus charges. Today the police raided hostels of Agricultural Colleges Baleli at airport road, after using violence on them they forcefully arrested dozens of students and shifted to jails. The forces have been searching and arresting Baloch students from different corners of Quetta since last night. This barbaric behaviour of Quetta Police and district authorities is discriminatory which creates only hatred which is never unacceptable. #BMC #Quetta

After speaking to the commissioner of police, lagos state, we had a press conference wherein we addressed several issues as it relates to this protest. In our address, we mentioned that the Commissioner of Police Lagos State Police Command have ordered the immediate release of the protesters who were arrested and detained in Panti, we also spoke about the peaceful protest and the conduct of the enforcement officers. In the press briefing, we assured protesters that our group of lawyers are willing and ready to freely secure the release of whoever is arrested in lagos state. I'm therefore using this medium to urge everyone protesting to ensure that the protest is done peaceful. Please reach out whenever someone protesting close to you is arrested by Lagos State Police Command

Once again at midnight, the Sindh police violently attacked a peaceful protest organized in solidarity with the Baloch Yakjehti Committee’s Baloch Raaji Muchi and in opposition to the brutal crackdown on the movement. Many of the peaceful protesters including women's were arrested and detained by the police. When the protesters resisted, the police were compelled to release some of them, though more than ten protesters remain detained. The state is showing fake negotiation on one side, while harassing and arresting peaceful protesters on the other. They were intimidated, silenced, mocked, and accused of overreacting for daring to speak out. Today, those warnings have been realised. An Ethiopian national housed at the very hotel they were protesting about has been charged and remanded in custody for a serious sexual assault on a female staff member. This is not racism. This is not hysteria. This is not speculation. This is a real victim, a real crime, and a real danger that was repeatedly flagged and deliberately ignored.
