In 2020, when I watched Florida become the first state to reopen its economy, I asked the question: why not us? In 2021, when I watched Tennessee become a zero income tax state, I asked the question: why not us? In 2022, when states like Arizona and Iowa adopted universal school choice, I asked the question: why not us? In 2024, when the CEO of a company I founded in Columbus, Ohio told me that he needed to move the business that I BUILT IN OHIO to Texas, I asked him the question: why not us? The reason I’m running for Governor is to make sure that WILL be us.

When we follow Christ, we are told to pick up our cross. The cross is never easy. Life is unfair and life is hard to Christians and non Christians alike. Followers of Jesus have peace despite the cross they carry. Peace that defies human understanding. When we follow Jesus, the burden becomes easy because we have Him the God of the impossible to lean on to. My real life is what comes after this life, and that will be glorious! SSD!
