It is getting beyond any form of generous interpretation for why world leaders continue to speak about a phantom “far-right” threat in the immediate aftermath of an Islamic terror attack. It seems to me Western leaders are trying to speak the far-right into existence on purpose.

Why does the world ignore the rights of the Kurdish people? Why are policies imposed on the Kurdish people, while their most basic rights are overlooked? How long will the Kurdish people be denied a simple right — to see their leaders standing in international forums with the flag of Kurdistan behind them? Why are Kurdish leaders forced to stand before flags that do not represent them or the aspirations of their people? Why is the Kurdish people expected to respect the flag of a government that seeks their destruction? Is it not the right of a nation of 60 to 70 million people to have its flag and identity recognized?

In any normal country, such a statement followed by an actual attack resulting in hundreds of victims would have led to an immediate resignation and criminal investigation for failing to carry out the responsibilities of protecting the country's citizens.
