I have been seeing many photos of people handing out relief packages, and while this was necessary in the early days, I am concerned about how it affects the dignity of our people. I do not want Jamaica to be portrayed as a place where citizens are scrambling for food or fighting over packages. That is not who we are. We are an independent, proud people, even in times of hardship. If we are giving support, we must do it respectfully and quietly, protecting the dignity of those in distress. And those receiving help must also remember their dignity. This is why I announced that we will be transitioning away from handing out food packages. The system has become too politicized, who got, who didn’t get, and who was invited to distribute. That is not acceptable, and it is not the Jamaica we want to build. So we will move to a voucher or coupon system that allows people to purchase what they need directly, without stigma, without politics, and with their dignity intact.

Having covered my trip personally, I had the pleasure of being an invited guest of FIFA. Notably, Jamaica is part of a bid to co-host the 2031 FIFA Women’s World Cup. While it is still a bid, we must prepare ourselves and show that Jamaica is ready for opportunities of this scale. That is why we are moving ahead with plans to redevelop the National Stadium Complex and continue improving Kingston. His proposals are therefore not in the report of the Constitutional Reform Committee, and will not be in the new Constitution coming out of that process. Furthermore, Mr. Holness’s proposals are not in the existing Constitution, and would violate the existing Constitution. The clip below is from one of my Youtube videos that was shared on my Youtube channel 9 months ago- back when Bitcoin was trading just under 100k and many were saying that the "cycle top was in". In this sub 2 minute clip I break down my expectations if the top WAS in (I also said I didn't believe this to be the case) and shared why even if our top was in I would still expect our massive alt season.
