Good on Alex Smith. Woody cares very little about the jets success until he feels embarrassed

Bro out here holding people accountable I love it! 😆

@Espngreeny We all hate you @woodyjohnson4

Correct. @woodyjohnson4 is a reprehensible, self-centered and horrible owner and human being without a slight ounce of dignity or self-awareness. If he actually cared about this franchise and the fans he’d sell the team.

Finally, I've been saying this for years! Different players, different coaches, and always terrible results. Woody is the one constant.

Hell yea!!! @woodyjohnson4 is a joke. You're the biggest problem!

SELL. THE. TEAM. WOODY. @nyjets

He is absolutely right. Look at 2021. They had Sam Darnold who is now a top 10 QB. They had the 2nd pick. They get enamored by a guy who could throw 60 yards from his knees. They could've given Darnold help. Could've drafted Jamar Chase or traded down for more picks. Dumb org.

Cowboy fans understand dysfunctional ownership

I like that Rex Ryan sees that Justin Fields never had A great supporting cast and has still shown how great he can be with bad supporting cast but shown how really great he can be with A competent organization like the Steelers.

Woody was an ambassador during the 44 regime. He's acting like the president: blame everyone else!

@espn he’s been the constant. very much like the jerry jones situation.

This applies to Stephen Ross and the @MiamiDolphins as well. Totally dysfunctional franchise from the ownership on down but it definitely starts at the top.

@espn What exactly do you want Woody to do? What exactly has woody done that has you so up in arms??? He's not the coach or the gm, and other than hiring Adam Gase, what disastrous decisions has he made?

Facts! Ownership is EVERYTHING.

Well said Alex Smith!

I’ve been saying this for several years. Woody Johnson is the common denominator here. The problem is, as long as he is the owner, the Jets are forced to rely on newly minted GMs and HCs and hope it works out. But it won’t. Because Woody won’t let it.

Good for Alex Smith.

I’m sorry so is Alex smith saying fields isn’t the problem?

"I've lived it, trust me I know"

Since @woodyjohnson4 bought the team in 2000, the Jets have a combined regular-season record of 173 – 231. The franchise has bigger problems than the head coach or quarterback. Let’s be real. The owner is clueless.

Worst owner and human being in ALL of professional sports - nothing will change with the Jets until he is gone

Just like Angels in MLB

Facts!

Truth!

This is not a bold take. Jets fans know this. We've known it for years, but we also know there's not much you can force a billionaire to do. So what's the point in talking about it?

Alex standing on business and calling out Woody, as he should. That was such bullcrap from an owner. Glad it was called out.

Go on wid yo bad self Alex, he had everyone else scared lol. Authentic as I’ve seen in a while from one of these shows

Johnson been a grade A clown 🤡 since he bought the team.

Please do Cardinals next

Alex Smith was and still is a brave, honest person.

Greeny is squirming.... Knowing he'll never be invited back to his beloved Jets home games again 🤣🤣😅🤣😅😅🤣😅🤣

Rex Ryan practically panting with glee.
