It is not normal to live like this

A couple of facts: -The gun used in the shooting was an AR-15. You can thank George Bush for allowing the assault weapon ban to expire -The shooter told friends he was suicidal and wanted to kill people. He also posted Instagram memes about burning the world down. Kentucky has no red flag laws as many blue states do — that would’ve precluded him from buying a gun should they have reported these statements to police. -The shooter purchased the gun just 6 days before the massacre. Kentucky has no “waiting period” for gun purchases as many blue states do.

I don’t know about anyone else. I was pulling for her survival. It just sucks because now the PTSD that comes from such a traumatic event will be with her for ever. These 911 Operators. How do they mentally handle that job?

The perp killed 5 people and injured 8 others, and because of the location, the cops were there almost immediately. These constant occurances are our national shame. If you're not going to vote for people who will reform/abolish the Senate filibuster, this will keep happening.

I’m bawling my eyes out. I listened to it in the entirety & the woman on the phone, her voice.. I wouldn’t wish that type of scared on anyone. I was praying her & the person with her would be safe & luckily they were. That woman is a hero for calling.
