Gandalf, whose true name is Olórin, is a Maia of the Ainur; in essence, an immortal spirit. During his battle with the Balrog in Moria, his physical body, his old man guise as an Istar, was destroyed, meaning what we call “death” for him was only the end of his physical form. Kiren Rijiju posted this video of Felipe Vergara on his Instagram, subtly passing it off as if it were him. The comments clearly show that many in his audience believe it is Kiren Rijiju himself. But the bigger issue is this: as a Union Minister, he is casually glamorising a dangerous activity that requires rigorous mental and physical training. There is no warning, no disclaimer, and no message telling young people not to try this stunt. This is RECKLESS!

This is the video at Wagah border. My question to all the doctors and physical fitness experts is: what kind of impact is likely to happen on the body of this jawan when he raises his leg over his head in this manner? His spinal cord—remember, this jawan is not someone who is a PT instructor or into 24×7 physical training. I am sure he does get posted out from here and does other jobs as well. The audience doesn't understand the military decorum of drill or the sanctity attached to it; for them, it's pure entertainment. Have military ceremony, do whatever, but let it be like military drills and not entertainment.
