many bird species are actually very intelligent and can remember faces and patterns, so its entirely possible that the birds witnessed something awful happen along with this flag and therefore resent the flag.

The manufacturers reasoning that Israel is listed in the number key that goes with the item is total BS- it's not because Israel wasn't labelled, it's because Palestine replaced it.
