"The Labour government got it's legislation through the commons tonight but only after gutting it" "In fact some Labour MPs came out of the commons chamber and were telling me they didn't quite know what they voted for or against" "Just 90 minutes before the crucial vote the DWP Minister Stephen Timms announced another big concession in order to make sure it did get through" "The IFS said tonight: the watered down bill is not deliver any savings over the next four years" "We asked the government for an interview this evening, no one was available" Shame on Labour for pushing this though instead of pulling the bill. More interested in trying to save face than to do what is good and right, really sad
