I love the smell of Topology in the morning.

I solved it with this one simple trick...

Math professor showed us the trick of taking off a vest without taking off the coat first. Topology is cool.

It only works for certain values of mug.

This morning I pulled it through the handle and looped one side over the top and the other over the bottom. Slightly easier, same result.

It's almost as if considering an extra dimension solves a problem.

Took a few seconds but yes - easier than it looks

There are some diabolical puzzles you can buy on Temu like this. You mess about for days and eventually free the rings but can never remember how you did it.

Goddammit I hate topology. Its whole purpose is to bamboozle us.

I had to try it... I recommend using a smaller cap It's possible, but I still don't get how that donut analogy should help 🙂

Another riddle. You have 12 coins, each weighing the same but one, which is either just a lil' bit lighter or heavier than the others. You have a scaler which only tells you if the left plate has more weight, the plates are having the same weight or the right plate is the heavier. Can you tell which coin is the "fake" coin with just 3 (three) measurements and is it heavier or lighter than the rest? (it's possible)

Examining the Hintergedanke of the real topology should allow you to solve for infinite scales large and small. It is curved, but more complicated and contains fractal infinity in scale and dimensions you aren't accounting for. Reality is not the smooth illusion of the mug, it's why it fools you at first, because it's isn't just that simple and you do know it. You just can't remember what the real answer should be other than this simplified false reality your brain has been conditioned to create.
