So apparently Brussels locals instantly know when you’re NOT driving 😄 FSD awareness is high! This kind gentleman waves me through… but he didn’t spot his colleague waiting on the left to cross. FSD caught everything perfectly. I indicated to him “I’m not the one driving” he immediately understood and smiled. The awareness of FSD is impressive, and so is the positive reaction from people! Almost got into an accident this afternoon while on FSD. FSD thought the FedEx truck would make its turn quicker. When it realized it couldn't, it tried to go around. At the same time, there was a car approaching in the right lane. I assume FSD calculated there was space for me in the right lane, but it really should have just slowed down. I had to slam on the brakes and steer the car to the left to avoid the driver side of my car clipping the trucks bumper. It was way too close for comfort. I have done tens of thousands of miles on FSD and have never had anything this close happen before.

First safety intervention I’ve had to make on FSD v14 in about 1300 miles. During an unprotected left, FSD began the turn but hesitated and paused mid lane. I pressed the accelerator to clear before an oncoming vehicle would have had to stop. Unprotected left turns are still not fully solved and are one of the few situations that still get my heart rate up.

By far the most unsafe driving by FSD HW#3 in my 8 year experience with it. Navigation gets confused and takes this left instead of the suicide lane next intersection. I was hoping it would slow down to a stop but it did not. The car to the right was thankfully paying attention and acted defensively to prevent an accident! Navigation is the biggest problem of FSD
