It wasn't garbage time. It can't qualify as garbage time if you came back enough to have the ball with a chance to tie or go ahead. And doing a kick-off with onside kick possibilities counts as having the ball. So he got us back into the game, but just couldn't quite get there. Not garbage, but just not enough to win.

I've never seen so many garbage time points in that game. It was so bad after the game, Phillip Rivers could be seen mouthing the words "this was the worst game ever"
