** Tarkov Armor Suggestion / Discussion ** Nikita Buyanov Battlestate Games Currently armor feels very pointless, even with the most expensive armors in the game. I personally think the soft armor sections are to blame for this, and not necessarily the new hitboxes themselves. I believe there's only one armor that has IV coverage over the majority of the torso, and it's a really bad ceramic rig, everything else is level III + plates. We're basically running around with glorified UNTAR armor (LVL III) if you get shot anywhere other than the plates. Expected outcome: - Running really expensive armor will actually be worth it again, and should protect against low tier ammo much more efficiently. - Armor coverage will still be a high priority. - Increases overall TTK and will make fights much more interesting. - Players will be encouraged to shoot the head rather than just getting completely lucky hitting a soft parts of the torso. I feel like this would end up being very reminiscent to previous versions of armor, and alleviate some the randomness of dying to the torso/neck, but not all of it of course. I had to upgrade to stupid premium account to make this post, so please share your thoughts lmao

Did you know how to remove prints from the Bambu Cool Plate SuperTack? Just use the scraper that came with your printer to gently lift the print and carefully pry it off. If it's stuck too tight, heat the plate to 50°C on the heatbed to help it come off. The surface is soft, so be careful with the scraper to avoid scratches (they won’t affect performance though). It takes GRIT and sacrifice to play Div 1 Soccer. Self reflect and ask yourself these questions: 1. Will you get up for early AM lifts and not just drag yourself there but arrive happy and energized, eager to work and motivate your teammates? 2. Are you ready to miss family events—weddings, birthdays and be separated from your parents for longer than you ever have before? 3. Can you manage every aspect of your life for the first time by yourself, before you even throw in the rigors and demands of a sport? 4. Can you survive in an environment where you are defined by your sport and have very little social life existence outside of athletic and academic obligations? 5. Can you handle the mental challenge of going from the super star to possibly bottom of the roster, sitting on the bench, and/or not traveling with the team? 6. Will you be genuinely happy for your roommate who is getting all the playing time and attention while you’re getting none? If you are a jungler and play like this every game. I speak for everyone when i say no one respects your rank I actually dont mind playing into these people because they are inflated from cheese strategies so they will usually just end up inting the game away even if they get a small lead from it. If this is you that plays like this please learn real jungling. you can do this if youre adaptable but forcing it every game like this player is low elo

This is how you can personalize sports and finance on Perplexity today. This way, when your favorite team is about to play a game, you didn’t have to go search. Live action widget just takes over your Lock Screen. Similar things planned for earnings calls for the finance watchlist. More personalization and customization are being worked on and coming in March. Idea is for you to not even have to think of asking stuff. The AI should just do that work for you and give it to you without any effort.

It's just... day and night. Completely overhauled the camera system for #CinematicsSuite for Roblox Studio It's more refined- more deliberate. Serious when you need it, playful when you want it. Added "altitude hold", which feels similar to piloting a commercial drone. In future releases, this can follow the curvature of roads in your experience. #EscapeFromTarkov ** PEACEKEEPER BUG / PSA ** Seems like this isn't affecting everybody but it's definitely happening to me so I thought I'd share. Buying ANY ammo it seems from Peacekeeper zaps all your USD - I would avoid buying ANYTHING from him at this time to be safe. You can move your spare USD to your PMC if you need to buy some stuff, however, if you have a lot, you will not be able to do this due to the USD limit on your PMC.

From your forties you lose muscle every year unless you fight for it. That decline is the whole game: the difference between carrying your own shopping at 80 and waiting for someone to carry it for you. Muscle you don't load shrinks. Bone no longer pulled on turns brittle. Balance you never challenge drains away. Two years of "taking it easy" and you have built the exact frail body everyone feared. The advice didn't prevent the fall. It built the person who couldn't survive one. And here is the lie inside it. Supervised resistance training has one of the lowest injury rates of anything an older adult does. Lower than gardening. Lower than a wet pavement. Lower than the stairs you climb without thinking. So instead they steer you to pilates, aqua aerobics, a gentle tai chi class. Pleasant, sociable, and none of it loads a muscle hard enough to stop it wasting. You feel active while the decline rolls on regardless. Strength is not vanity at this age. It is the garden you kneel in, the stairs you keep, the grandchild you lift. Independence with the years added on. Frightened of a barbell? Fine. You don't need one. Machines are built for exactly this. Fixed path, nothing to wobble sideways. You sit, you're supported, you push. When a set gets hard you stop, and the machine holds the weight, not your spine. All of those people who constantly cry about “cancel culture” are at it again cancelling a company called Liberty Safe. This comes after they spent months trying to cancel Bud Light. These people will say, “but we are justified,” and they are not. That’s not how this works though. People boycott and “cancel” companies and people when they feel there is a justification to do it. It doesn’t mean that it has to be justified in your mind, but it is in theirs. It’s just so hypocritical to me when people attack others for canceling companies but they go ahead and do the exact same thing themselves. For those who aren't familiar with this story, the Liberty Safe company gave a passcode to the FBI so that they could access a suspected criminal's safe. There was a search warrant issued on the criminal's home where the safe was located. What do you think? Do you support cancel culture? Do you only support it when it’s in your best interest, or do you support it no matter who it is?

Universities and High Schools have not moved rapidly enough to guide students to have skills for the next decade. THEY HAVE FAILED. It is a massive crisis that can be averted by understanding what AI and Robotics will bring about. Solutions are knowing how to use these tools and new industries that will rise. But this situation is also on ALL OF US. No “job” is safe from founder to entry level in most industries. You and I, by what we do, will be “replaced” ultimately. What to do? AI and Robotics are tools, the next decade is owned by those who know how to use them expertly, but this is also temporary. We have to understand that what we do for “work” will change giving ultimately a greater value to those that are: Creative Flexible Always learning Willing to be wrong Love being human Love being alive Know history Covet wisdom Knowing all tech has downsides Building strong family and friends Realize many institutions have failed The first four are required for you to be able to live through this period with your sanity intact. The rest will allow you to thrive. There are no true careers at this point anymore. There are advocation and vocations which will either earn you money or give life meaning. We will learn that we are not “what we do”, just like we knew for 99% of human existence. Let that sink in. — You and I are far, far ahead of knowing this and we can do two things: 1) Laugh at the “clueless” 2) Help people understand with grace Go to Reddit if you are 1, in fact don’t follow me because you will not like this next decade and what I post. You are 2 and thank you. Even if you and I have not solved this issue, we can help people understand what is ahead and with determination and creativity bound together to solve it locally. Or human family has done this millions of times. The evidence is: you are here. The Neo Luddite movement has not even begun and it will potentially rip apart society even more than all the fashionable moment in the recent past has. These Luddites will have a good point with the wrong answers cooked up by dying academics that cling to labels, “virtues” and victim hood. It will be readymade for some governments to enter in as “big daddy” to “help us”. You will not like what they do, but you will only know when it is too late. It will include YOU “volunteering” to “leave” by 60, to “help out” CanadaPod style. “Brian, I’m 24 what do I do?”. I hope to do much more here to help. But I do know this: 1) Learn a trade or vocation because it’s valuable. It may also be free to low cost if you do it right. 2) Learn everything you can about USING AI and TRAINING YOUR AI. Your expertise will be in the top 1% for a decade. But not forever. 3) Understand Bitcoin and how it will rise while other things sink. This is a short list for now. We will know more moving forward. When you see videos like this posted below, know one thing: Many of these folks had no real family of mental and physical support. Maybe no parent or one parent. Maybe only a broke system to prepare them for—nothing. This was not their doing. Now it is not your “job” to help them, it is your survival to help them if that is what you need. See some day after the dust settles these 20 year olds will be 40 year olds and running YOUR world. And at some point you may need them more than you think you do.
