It seems like some people still don’t understand why Palestinians chose armed resistance. Some still think they never tried "peaceful" resistance. I hope this 2021 interview with Yahya Sinwar clarifies it:

Some people forget that the Palestinian leaders rejected land for peace five times! As recently as 2008. 🤔 Some people forget that the Palestinian leaders (this man here) stole $ billions from its people. That it doesn’t care about Gaza. At all. It doesn’t care about its people : Sinwar said: ‘civilian deaths are a necessary sacrifice’ which is why Hamas embedded deadly military targets in and under civilian areas; shoot their own people and deny them safety in their underground city. The Palestinian terror proxies of the IRGC treat Gaza as the sacrificial lamb for their grander ambitions: extinguish Israel (militarily or other means) as a stepping stone to Global Intifada (death to all Infidels including moderate Muslims) and death to the West. They say so. Clearly. I believe them.
