It should be illegal to even call that a wall.

Just use stone walls… and Celsius… and the metric system… and don’t play golf in your paper house

Anybody know that this room is actually a display for showing how to do work like this. It’s not an actual room. This man does tons of videos on YouTube about different jobs like this.

"Don't push too hard, there's nothing behind it supporting it." So put something behind it first. It's not hard.

This is the opinion of someone who only rents. A home is a tool, and the wall is repairable and serviceable. Would you rather have your pipes and outlets behind brick or concrete? Okay, but good luck putting in new fixtures or repairing a leak.

One of these days, Americans are going to hear about the Three Little Pigs and it's going to blow their minds!

Wait American walls are just painted drywall with wooden studs?

You do understand this wall was built with the purpose of him demonstrating this process, right?

Please tell me this isn't a real wall that houses are made with in the US. Fucking crazy. We build houses with bricks and concrete. Wtf is this arts and crafts shit

I could just spackle the original hole and you couldn't tell the difference.

Good luck blending the texture , a 6” spot just became 2’x2’ if not more .

Nah, always use a couple of screws and a backing piece of wood. This patch will show seams within a year without them

This is standard drywall that is in every single house build in the US for at least the last 50 years. Remember before jumping my shit I said at least.

There are a lot of idiots commenting on this video! Clearly, many of them never built anything! That includes many foreigners who think walls should cost 10 times more & be affordable to 10 times fewer people!

that wall is about as real as your twitter followers

Umm the proper thing to do B4 you put up that repair drywall: install a piece of wood that is just larger that you can fish in and screw to the existing drywall then screw the patch too…

What’s going on? Are American houses built like this? It kind of figures looking at the state of the country.

The camera work and editing of this video is one of the worst instructional videos I’ve ever seen. It makes you dizzy and tells you almost nothing about what to do and why you’re doing it. A total waste of time.

Love his quote “Don’t expect it to be the strongest patch in the world because it’s not.” Hey dude why not put some fking backing in there while you doing the exact same finish work as you would for shoving a 1x in there. What a dumbass.

My European brain cannot believe Americans live in cardboard boxes and call them "houses".

American homes are made of cardboard and then they’re surprised when their house blows away every time they get a storm

This is why tornados are so deadly in the US 😂 They keep building cardboard houses.

Jesus. Can't think why Merican houses get mullered in storms.

Before and After California Patch. Yeah there’s no difference, because the Gavin Newsom embezzled the money meant for the repairs and pocketed that for himself and his buddies. That’s the Classic California Patch.

Shouldn't you put 2 screws into the new piece holding it to wood in the wall?

That's why Sylvester Stallone easily knocks his fist through walls. They're American walls.
