It should not be unexpected that Donald Trump issued his statement—and what a pathetic one it was. If you’re not embarrassed by this behavior from the so-called commander in chief, then I don’t know what your threshold is. This is a humiliation ritual, putting the United States—once the most... show more

President Maduro on his call with Trump: “I received, I had a call and spoke with the President of the United States, Donald Trump. I can say that the conversation was respectful in tone. I can even say it was cordial between the President of the United States and the President of Venezuela. I will say more: if that call means that steps are being taken toward a respectful dialogue between states, from country to country, then dialogue is welcome, diplomacy is welcome, because we will always seek peace.”

A reporter asked the President of the United States if he was concerned about insider trading on the war in Iran. His answer: “The whole world has become somewhat of a casino.” And then: “It is what it is.” This is not what the Commander-in-Chief should say when traders are making millions on bets placed minutes before American servicemembers go into combat. $580 million in oil futures moved 16 minutes before Trump paused strikes on Iranian power plants. More than 150 Polymarket accounts bet on a US strike the Friday before the war started. Somebody knew. And the President of the United States says it is what it is. Disgraceful.

.Vice President JD Vance: "The United States wins either way. What President Donald J. Trump is trying to do is actually extend the hand of peace and say if the Iranian people want greater prosperity, then their leadership has to step up and change their behavior. If they do, great. If they don't, the United States has already gotten a lot from what we need."

This is a video that tells you everything you need to know about the Democrats trying to undermine our Commander-in-Chief. Rep. Maggie Goodlander (D-NH) can't name a single illegal order that President Trump has issued or may even issue. The goal of this was to sow discord in our military-- because they can't stand that Donald J. Trump is the duly elected President of the United States. And they should be ashamed of themselves.

"Men do not stay for platitudes. Platitudes do not carry a soul through the winter. When the child is in the ground, when the marriage is in ruins, when the diagnosis comes back and the floor drops out of the world, no one was ever held up by 'be kind and stay positive.' They are held, if they are held at all, by something with iron in it. By a witness that the heavens are real and open, that God still speaks, that the dead are not lost, that there is power on the earth greater than the darkness. The early Saints had that, and they knew they had it, because they had felt it in their own bodies. They were healed under hands. They spoke in tongues. They saw visions and buried their children in the certainty of resurrection and crossed a continent on the strength of a fire they could not have faked. That is what converts a man and that is what keeps him, not a well managed self-help program, but the living evidence that what we preach is true. So the cure is not complicated, and it is not new. It is to be again the Church of our fathers. Stop apologizing. Stop trimming the glorious truth into something the world will pat on the head. Speak with authority and with the hammer, the way Joseph spoke, the way Brigham spoke, the way men speak when they actually believe the heavens have opened over them. Reach again for the gifts of the Spirit, and stop pretending they were a founding era curiosity, because a testimony built on argument crumbles in the first storm and a testimony built on the manifest power of God does not. And above all, live as though the heavens are open, because they are, and they have only ever felt closed to a people who stopped expecting them to answer. The Saints are not leaving because the gospel is too much. They are leaving because we have made it too little. Make it glorious and demanding again, and watch who comes back through the door. The hungry have not gone anywhere. We simply stopped setting the table."

Now the special envoy has flown back to the United States, where he will report back to his boss, U.S. President Donald Trump. And to that, Landry says: ‘I will report back to him that ever since he began talking about Greenland back in 2016, he has actually put Greenland on the map. And what he essentially did was recognize that the United States, prior to President Trump, had neglected Greenland.’ Q: Some of the people we have spoken to feel somewhat offended by the tone coming from the United States. Do you think there is something in the rhetoric from the U.S. that people here simply do not understand, or what is it really about?” “Well, listen, I have never paid much attention to what people say about me. People make memes and jokes and say harsh things. I will always say that people should judge me by my actions, not my words,” Landry replies before turning to Trump. “Donald Trump is definitely a man of action. And he always wants to create opportunities for people. He wakes up every day working to make life better for Americans. And I believe that is the same kind of prosperity he wants to bring to Greenland as well. And it begins with security.” The journalist tells Jeff Landry that some of the people DR has spoken to still believe that President Trump wants to take over Greenland. ‘And I have to ask you: Is that still the mission?’ ‘The mission is to bring this country under the Monroe Doctrine in a way that is beneficial to Greenland. When I spoke with Greenlanders, every question was about this: Do you want the United States to be here? Not everyone says no — some want a closer relationship.’ ‘And they are not only saying it with words, they are also showing it physically in a very clear way. So again, I would say those are the people Donald Trump cares about. And I certainly do as well,’ Jeff Landry explains. (The interview took place yesterday.) —DR

Abdul El-Sayed on standing up to Trump: “The thing about Trump and other people like him is that they are fragile. And if you hit back, if you engage them the way they engage, if you give as good as you get, they back down. They can’t take a shot.” “If you want to be a big bad bully, then don’t be surprised when people show up and bully you back.” “If you want to engage in a way that’s about what politics should be about, which is policy, okay. But, you know, you get to decide. He’s the President of the United States. He wanted all this power. Okay. If you want to punch at people, don’t be surprised when we punch back.”

Elias: There are two possibilities here. The first is that the Postal Service and Donald Trump know that this can’t be done. And that’s actually the point. That’s not a flaw. That’s a feature. Because what they want—what Donald Trump wants—is for states to fail at achieving what it is the Postal Service told them to achieve. So that Donald Trump will then be able to say that the states disregarded this regulation, the states were, you know, were rife with fraud, whatever it is, right? So, like, in some ways, they want this to not be a smooth process for the sake of pointing that out, that when Democrats win control of Congress, they can point to that. The second is that Donald Trump’s going to somehow just declare that, well, you know what, if states can’t do it, then no one can vote by mail.

🚨 PRESIDENT TRUMP JUST NOW: "The main thing is that Iran will not have a nuclear weapon!" "They fully agreed to that with strong POLICING powers and they won't have a nuclear weapon, which is what it was all about because they probably would have used it if they had it." "So we had two big moments when we terminated the JCPOA, that was the Obama deal, the Barack Hussein Obama deal." "And when I terminated, that was very important because it was a road to a nuclear weapon. It was a horrible deal for the United States. It was a deal where billions of dollars was given to Iran."

How many times in our country's history have you heard a president of the United States say that members of the Senate and the House should be hanged?…Those words carry a lot of weight…He ain't going to shut me up…I'm not intimidated by Donald Trump.”
