@rtenews Will they be calling for all the Irish athletes, who’ve trained for years, to boycott the Olympics? Nah!

@rtenews Is Steve going to give Bambie a platform of 200 odd million some other way? No? Didn't think so...

@rtenews What? A satanist weirdo representing Ireland......oh OK..

@rtenews She said "If I wasn't in the Eurovision, she would boycott it". Anyone want to explain to me how that works.

@rtenews Couldn't care less whether she goes or not. What I do care about is @rte expending money on something the vast majority of the country has little interest in.

@rtenews The organising committee and host country should have already shut the door on Israel’s participation, shouldn’t be down individual countries like Ireland to make a stand and it should certainly not be down to an individual artist to to pull out as a token response

@rtenews Boycott? Will you also advocate boycotting the Olympics and the European Football championship? Didn't think so!

@rtenews I'd say she will get to boycott the second round

@rtenews Ireland isn't going to win anyway. We won in the past through ability and charm but Ireland's recent offers into Eurovision are only cuckoldry to foreign powers.

@rtenews Are there people who honestly believe if @Bambiethug doesn’t perform a song in the Eurovision that Netanyahu will suddenly decide to stop carpet bombing Gaza? Russia’s expulsion sure deterred them, didn’t it? oh wait…
