The law on organ donation in Ireland has changed. If you’re aged 18 or over, you’ll be considered a potential organ donor, unless you opt out or are part of an excluded group. If you do not wish to become a donor, you can choose to opt out by adding your name to the opt-out register. Your family or next of kin will always be consulted if you have not opted out. So, it is important to talk to your loved ones about your wishes. Find out more:

A Brazilian Billionaire buried a Rs 2 crore Bentley so that he could have a luxurious life after his death! The media criticized him and said he should have donated his Bentley instead. Then the Brazilian Billionaire replied, “You call me crazy for burying a Bentley, but all of you bury something way more valuable than a Bentley. Your organs!!” The billionaire did this stunt to promote organ donation in Brazil and organ donation awareness spread through the roof in Brazil. Unfortunately, India has one of the lowest organ donation rates in the world (0.52 per 10 lakh people), and every year lakhs of Indians die while waiting for organs. Just last week, I pledged to donate all my organs to the government after I die. I was surprised to see how simple the process of organ donation pledging is and it took me only 2 minutes to register. Today I’m launching India’s biggest ever organ donation movement called “Organ Donate Karega India”, where I want millions of people to join me in pledging their organs after death. Come join me in pledging your organs! No person should be left dying waiting for an organ! Share widely! Organ Donation pledge link: #OrganDonateKaregaIndia

Coroners signing off on your body parts? Surely not? Opt out of organ donor. The coroner will be signing off on your organs whilst you are still warm with a beating heart likely in intensive care on a ventilator! MY APOLOGIES; everyone became an organ donor in May 2020 not 2021. Jeremy Hunt said they would use the air ambulance in 2017 to ‘scout’ (effectively for organs) for potential organ donors. Matt Hancock stated in 2021 that we would become one of the biggest organ donors in the world

.Laura 🌲 ⛰️ (CEO of Until) on fixing organ transplant logistics: Right now, you might wait months next to the hospital just for a call in the middle of the night that your organ is on a private jet that day. With Until, they're trying to fix that: “In the near term, it’s about getting the organ to the patient as fast as possible, without having to charter a plane and fly a surgeon across the country."

Yesterday I met a man blinded in his left eye after a Pfizer shot in April 2021: I knew his story already then — before Covid Pass in Finland — and I told the court about it in April 2024. Now his story goes with my case to the European Court of Human Rights.

The most important conversation a kid is going to have on their journey to achieving their dreams is the conversation they have with their parents after hitting their first big adversity. Parents who point fingers and make excuses for their kid = kid has no shot Parents who emphasize taking responsibility and ownership of their failure = kid has a shot As former D1 college coaches, Jason Guerriero and I talked about this on our latest podcast.

Did you know that you can have somebody murdered for their organs if you pay for an organ transplant in China? It sounds far too dark, but it’s true. Hop on a plane, pay for a transplant, and you’ll receive an organ with an impossibly short wait time. But here’s the catch: chances are that organ came from a murdered prisoner. China denies this is happening, but mounting evidence, whistleblower testimonies, and impossible transplant timelines tell a very different story. And if that’s happening in China with organ transplants, what’s being swept under the rug here in America? This is the dark side of organ transplants nobody had the integrity to tell you about. 🧵

The story of Janan, who lost 2 of his sons in the war, is heartbreaking. With tears in his eyes, he recites a poem by the renowned Persian poet Saadi to express his feelings. His story is regrettably not an uncommon one; countless others like him have lost loved ones to the war.

Marian Finucane in conversation with Sinead O'Connor. Very rare interview (the internet doesn't seem to know about it!) just a few months before the Pope picture rip incident on MTV. This is worth half an hour, if you have it to spare. (RTE1 - April 1992)

They say grief is just love with nowhere to go, but this father found a place for it. 🕊️ His son passed away and became an organ donor, giving the gift of life to a stranger. A year later, the heart recipient sent him this: a bear with a recording of his son’s actual heartbeat from a recent checkup. It’s one thing to know your child saved a life; it’s another to hold that bear and hear the rhythm of their life still moving forward. It’s a "thank you" that words could never touch. If this doesn’t make you hug your people a little tighter today, nothing will.

T.I. Regrets His Beef With 50 Cent?🤯 While sitting down with Angela Yee and Maino on the “Way Up” podcast to discuss his career as a comedian, the upcoming album and of course his beef with 50 Cent. While talking about it, Tip seemed bothered by the energy of the situation, denying once again he started the beef to promote his final album and stating that he still doesn’t quite understand how a positive conversation sparked this whole situation. After dropping several diss tracks and having his whole family involved, T.I. seems to be past this situation, do you guys think his beef with 50 is over?
