It still doesn’t make sense to me how Batman could be able to remove the green lantern ring from John Stewart’s finger Isn’t the ring supposed to be bonded with the lantern’s finger? Because I thought lanterns could control their ring even without wearing it

Mystery solved… I think we can put the ring thing to rest now. The ring on Charlie’s finger was something called a hinge ring that opens. This can be seen at other events he’s had. The ring did not switch fingers. It merely opened upon impact, and it simply decoupled from his ring finger. I’ve watch it many times and you can actually see it decouple frame by frame. Hat tip to anons on the chans and Spencer Medici
