It turns out that all it took was getting booted off a conference stage for everyone to remember what is was that they liked about Pastor Mark Driscoll Driscoll. Issues aside, this was pretty awesome.

As food for thought you could check out the Protestia op-ed about this. I see where you’re going for but I disagree with you on supporting Driscoll on this one. Or any other one to be honest. If I knew how to link it for you in my comment I would but it’s easy to find 👍🏻

@PastorMark 100% agree with everything you said here. Pastor Mark is one of the boldest public Christians of our time. We can disagree with him on some things but we reject him at our own peril.

@PastorMark Nice one Jamie. Just for clarity, I know he has a bald head and Jordan’s but that’s not me lol. However if your into sword swallowing I’ll be opening the Bible (sword of the Spirit) at Hope Chapel Lane this Thursday and we can all feast in that.

@PastorMark Thank you for this. I like Driscoll. Have you come across this article yet? 👇🏻 You can’t believe all the internet, but I find the accounts of former Trinity congregants and family members of married-in Driscolls offered here to be worth consideration.

After Vegas stripper and ‘sword swallower’ Alex Magala did a performance with his shirt off, Driscoll got on stage and condemned the performance. There should have been a pricking of your spirit and heart before you EVER put this man on stage at a CHRISTIAN MEN’S CONFERENCE. This is what Driscoll is referring to when he said he was up all night. He felt conviction. This is a time for prayer, worship and education in men’s leadership of the home. The stripper should have been there to learn about God and should have been lovingly rebuked and prayed over. Instead, you literally gave him a platform and affirmed his lifestyle. I hope everyone LEAVES James River. It is not a church, it is a building of deception and a stumbling block for all Christian men.
