"I need to get the $47,000 RTX gorillian and six for my capped 30fps, ai upscaled 240p, Unreal Engine 5 slopfest now!" Meanwhile, on a game console released in 2005:

I love how the Fox Engine really shined in MGSV but in-house doesn't always equal great and middleware doesn't always equal bad. Look at Bethesda, 343's slipspace and how RE Engine has handled open worlds.

It used to be common practice to make a good game that customers wanted to buy you know. Back when game companies bothered building games for gamers

"wow what an amazing looking game let's fire this guy before he finishes this game and release a shitty multiplayer using his engine" KONAMI suits probably

>add blur >add bloom >add film grain >add chromatic aberration >import project into unreal engine >get 25fps with max specs >nvidia boosts fake fps to 40 That’ll be $5000

Fox Engine is genuinely one of the best gaming engines ever made.

Which game?

That was a consequence of needing to build an engine filtering out the diversity speds. Literally every single person who thinks the problem is Unreal is a complete retard that doesn't know the first thing about game development, and I'm positive the replies will prove me right.

this is the peak of video game graphics

Been less than a year and my first time playing GZ will be unforgettable
