"Every major objective of the flight test was achieved, providing valuable data as we prepare the next generation of Starship and Super Heavy. The flight test began with Super Heavy igniting all 33 Raptor engines and ascending over the Gulf. In the final minutes of flight, Starship performed a dynamic banking maneuver to mimic the trajectory that future missions returning to Starbase will fly. Starship then guided itself using its four flaps to the pre-planned splashdown zone in the Indian Ocean, successfully executing a landing flip, landing burn, and soft splashdown. Focus now turns to the next generation of Starship and Super Heavy, with multiple vehicles currently in active build and preparing for tests. This next iteration will be used for the first Starship orbital flights, operational payload missions, propellant transfer, and more as we iterate to a fully and rapidly reusable vehicle with service to Earth orbit, the Moon, Mars, and beyond."

Slowed the footage down even. And the rocket didn't explode in midair. As a matter of fact, the boosters didn't even disengage from the main rocket. And control said it seems to be a problem because the separation is supposed to have occurred s minute prior. After reviewing the footage. The rocket made an impact into something. Which caused to explode. It hit the glass Dome right above the firmament. They just showed the world again the truth. So that WE can see the truth for ourselves.

The other day, FSD was driving me home, and I was surprised to see it taking forever to complete an automatic lane change. Just as I was about to intervene, I noticed a motorcycle pass me, seemingly out of nowhere. FSD had been tracking the motorcyclist and was aware of its location the entire time. As soon as the motorcyclist passed, the ego car safely completed the lane change. As a motorcyclist myself, this made me very happy as it is yet another example of how FSD is making our roadways safer. Great work Tesla AI team!

NASA gave SpaceX the contract to deorbit the ISS & send it into the ocean at the end of its lifetime in 2031. The Dragon capsule fired its Draco thrusters for ~12.5 minutes today to adjust the station’s orbit. Here is a video of the test today:
