It was a solemn yet beautiful scene as we honored hero PPD Sergeant Robert Wilson III at his 10th annual memorial ceremony. We will never forget Rob's legacy, and we will forever honor his sacrifice.

Oh, how I remember that day! The snowstorm. My son's birthday. And thinking that the GameStop was in a strip shopping center at 22nd & Lehigh--the former site of Connie Mack Stadium. Sigh.

I worked on this case in the Homicide Unit! He is a hero for what he did that day! Drawing gun fire to himself and away from others in that store! Rest in Peace Sgt Wilson. Never forgotten
