50 Cent reveals Ghost was almost killed off years earlier in Power 50 Cent: I didn’t mind killing Kanan when the time came. It got awkward for the writer, for the showrunner, because she felt like it was registering as a 50 Cent show instead of her show. It also was friction between her and Omari, because he was feeling like he was the lead and the star of the show. Omari would’ve died, Ghost must die. He would’ve died when Kanan died, she planned to kill Omari’s character off right there. I’m like, “Nah.” I could feel how the general public was feeling, and I knew that was not the right decision. She said, “If he doesn’t die, something has to happen. Something big has to happen.” I’m like, “Me. Kill my character. I got other shit to do. 🐋 Tay missed filming for 3 episodes, and for a while it was hard to keep in touch with the others, because everyone had been through a lot together. While I was away filming Scarlet in Chiang Mai, Daou was the one updating me. Then he texted to say goodbye, and I was like, “Wait, we were just getting close.” It felt like we were never going to see each other again. Back then, who would’ve known it was because Daou broke his finger, and there was that sign-pulling game, so he thought he couldn’t come anymore. I was honestly so shaken. I really felt like we were finally becoming close, and when he said he wouldn’t be there, I kept thinking, “Then who’s going to replace him?” So I told him, “Daou, please come.” And then the day Daou came back, his finger was still in a splint. I seriously respect him so much. His finger was hurting, and he still showed up. DAOU: Everyone, please don’t feel sorry for me. I wanted to come myself. I wanted to see how well I could do with only one hand. #Tawan_V #DAOU
