The bad writing wasn’t about her doing what she did, it was about the Starks being the “good guys” but managing to survive while everybody else dies, Bran becoming king, Sansa becoming queen after doing nothing meanwhile Dany deserved the throne and was killed by Jon

I mean if you don't think it's bad writing that she would go street by street targeting civilians instead of straight o the red keep... We just don't agree on writing criteria

Danaeyrs was the best dragon rider, best Targaryan there ever was. They made her character a tyrant in the end but her empathy and warmth still came across

The ending makes more sense for the book then TV show. Even getting to Westeros is taking a toll on Dany. She is becoming more ruthless as the war goes on. The show never foreshadows this at all which makes it to abrupt for her to do something that mean.
