Carlos Alcaraz says he initially wasn’t sure if he was cramping or if it was an issue with his adductor during his match against Zverev, ‘I just told what happened to the physio & he decided to take a medical’ “I didn’t think it was cramps at all at the beginning. I didn’t know exactly what it was. I ran to a forehand and started to feel it in the right adductor. That’s why I called the physio. Because it was just that moment, the rest of the legs.. the left leg was good. Not good but decent. After that with all the stress I didn’t know what was going on. I didn’t know if it was going to be worse or not. In that moment I just talked to the physio and said ‘Ok I just went to run to the forehand side and I started to feel the right adductor.’ He decided to take the medical time out and he did it. I just told what happened to the physio and he decided to take a medical.” (via Australian Open Press)

Yesterday afternoon @NECWA alerted me to a stranded porbeagle shark off Sagamore Beach. When I arrived it was still alive and a Good Samaritan moved it into deeper water but clearly it was not well. Unfortunately it didn’t last the night and washed up at low tide…

Caroline Munro explains the reasons for the failure of "Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter" (1974): "Munro: 'Captain Kronos' (1974) was very badly received at the time. It didn’t have much recognition. Maybe it was ahead of its time, because it was really soft. It didn’t have any s € x, it didn’t have much violence. It was meant to be more of a spiritual thing, more intellectual. But the fans didn’t get it, I think." Interviewer: I just saw it again yesterday and I noticed how in some scenes it seems to be an homage to the expressionist horror films of the thirties. The art direction is gorgeous. Munro: That is exactly the reason why it’s somewhat of a cult film now. It was Brian Clemens’s directorial debut and he was wonderful. He was as nervous as I was. But I loved the film and I loved my part in it. Interviewer: When you were working for Hammer they were just going in a new direction, more s€xualized. I suppose it was all kind of blatant, the way they used the females. But KRONOS didn’t have anything titillating, whereas "Dracula A.D" (1972). did. Maybe that’s why A.D. was a success and KRONOS wasn’t. But also, A.D. had a great cast, with Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing. In another interview, she said: "The movie didn’t have any publicity at all. Nothing. In fact, we weren’t even told it was coming out. It just crept out in Hammersmith; I and my family went to see it one evening. And that was it—we never heard another word about it." I think Guard Canceling is a very strong tool, both defensively and offensively. Since you're canceling JD into special moves, you can potentially land a full combo from a GC. In MOTW this was free but in COTW it costs rev gauge, I believe this discourages fishing for GC. #COTW
