First time I’m seeing this clip and it’s actually bloody hilarious. What did people not like about this show?

I remember people hating a lot of the relationship drama and adult humor in this show but that's exactly what I found funny and appealing with the Muppets involved

Love the Muppets and the style. Mockumentary style Muppets was a gold mine. Its also an untapped goldmine for franchsies. I'd kill for a Legion of Doom one from DC

It probably would have been better received if it wasn't the ONLY muppets show at the time. If they ran it anlongside a more classic muppet show it would have been cool

It was really good. The Jason Siegel Muppets movie did something that I always wanted and then this show carried it on. They made the Muppets real and pointed out the fact that they weren't around. It broke my fucking heart.

It was slow in places, but it absolutely had spirit and potential. Unfortunately, it was hot off the heels of other shows trying to copy the success of The Office/30 Rock, and didn’t stray much from the formula, which is normal for Muppet Parodies, but in an oversaturated genre.

This feels more like modern family than the office but still looks good lol

the way they left it on a cliff hanger makes me sick to this day.

This was actually very good. Not a major surprise, The Muppets are extremely versatile and fit well within almost every genre. Much of the documentary style lends itself well to the silly character dynamics between The Muppets too.

I really loved Muppets Tonight, but NOBODY ever talks about it. It was Pepe the Prawn’s Big Break!!!!

I was actually upset when they cancelled it. I really liked watching this when it was on.

I watched every episode

All I remember from this show was when Fozzy got high from a horse tranquilizer, and that alone deserved an Emmy.

Fozie saying "Not wrong, just wrong for me" is the epitome of Gen-X culture in a millenial context.

I loved that he drove a Corvair, that was my first car

I had a lot of fun watching it with my mom

I wish they would go back to this type of adult comedy.
