Culling animals is about control. Over the weekend, Canada culled around 400 ostriches in the name of “preventing bird flu.” The story the government sold was simple: we’re protecting the food supply. Out of all the birds that died last year, they only did two autopsies. That’s all it took to confirm their narrative. The rest were written off as “virus-related” without proof. And of course, they used the PCR test, the same test that’s been proven easy to manipulate and unreliable when it comes to actually identifying illness. Once they had the results they wanted, the conclusion was already written: declare “bird flu,” cull the flock, and call it “public safety.” But here’s what they won’t tell you. Contagion has never been scientifically proven. The entire foundation of their argument rests on a theory, not evidence. And yet, based on that theory, they destroyed hundreds of healthy animals and devastated a farm family’s livelihood. The ostrich owners fought to save their birds and lost. Culling animals is about control. Over the weekend, Canada culled around 400 ostriches in the name of “preventing bird flu.” The story the government sold was simple: we’re protecting the food supply. But if you look closer, it’s clear this wasn’t about health. It was about control. The health authorities didn’t even bother to do their due diligence. Out of all the birds that died last year, they only did two autopsies. That’s all it took to confirm their narrative. The rest were written off as “virus-related” without proof. And of course, they used the PCR test, the same test that’s been proven easy to manipulate and unreliable when it comes to actually identifying illness. Once they had the results they wanted, the conclusion was already written: declare “bird flu,” cull the flock, and call it “public safety.” But here’s what they won’t tell you. Every time I speak or listen to Shashi Kumar from Akshayakalpa Organic, I learn something new about food, health, and sustainability. A few things I learned recently: 1. Antibiotic resistance is a global health threat. Due to overuse, germs have become resistant to antibiotics, leading to health complications and deaths. The non-obvious way in which we ingest antibiotics is through dairy and meat. For example, cows that are always tied down tend to catch diseases quickly, and the use of antibiotics becomes necessary to treat them. If a cow is treated with antibiotics, 40% of it shows up in the milk. 2. Death of bees Bees are excellent pollinators, and beekeeping on AK farms has considerably increased coconut yields. Unfortunately, most bee colonies die due to the use of pesticides, habitat loss, and parasites. 3. Loss of organic carbon Organic carbon in soil has dropped to an alarming low of 1%. It needs to be much higher for sustainable farming. The lower the organic carbon content, the lower the fertility of the soil, and the lower the nutrition profile of the produce. An orange from 50 years ago had a much better nutrition profile than today's. For example, one orange from then is better than three oranges today. One way to increase the organic carbon in the soil is to move to more sustainable practices when farming, i.e., organic farming. But today, subsidies on fertilizers and seeds make organic more expensive. Also, consumer support doesn’t exist; maybe if consumers cared about the nutrition profile of what we consume, there would be more demand for organic, and at scale, the price could also drop. AK farms are at 3.6%, took 13 years. We have to change this trend. Maybe it will if younger and more educated folks take up farming and such conversations become mainstream. Farmers definitely need to be able to keep higher margins on their produce and need easy access to credit. AK is trying to solve some of these issues. The last time we slowed down, they quietly creeped into our villages and corrupted/deceived more farmers and got them on their side. Before we said Jack, their products weee everywhere, which then gave them the impetus to buy some influencers for their PR, which we have now shut down. If we slow down again, by the time we realize it, every single food our people eat in Nigeria will be GMOs. Make it a point of duty to post on GMOs every week if you can’t do it everyday. We must not let them rest. Those of you who can take action - simple action of re-educating farmers in your communities, please do it. We also need to start buying or mustering up organic seeds wherever they may be found. We need to start storing and preserving or planting them. I’ve been talking about this because the end game is to outlaw the use of organic seeds, if we let them. If we do a good job with our farmers reorientation program across Nigeria, there will eventually be farmlands we need to destroy completely with the consent of the farmers who had been deceived and reorientated. If we know such farmers, we can help them transition. Some farmer in Northern Nigeria must have been deceived into growing the so called “water melon” in this video. They were not imported. They’re in the midst of our people in Nigeria. Imagine how many more are out there in the markets. Our people are in serious trouble. Immune systems are gonna start crumbling left right and center, ahead of their planned next pandemic, which they say could happen between 2026/2027. We are literally like sheep being walked to the slaughter. We have got to wake up en masse, Africa! Nigeria! Wake up!

We're investing BILLIONS into treating the diseases it causes, but almost NOTHING into the real solutions. Small farmers like me are left out of the money to fix it. We are the solution. Small organic farms that use DIY robots and lasers (I make both and share them open-source to help other older farmers). If even 1% of the billions in grants went to us every year, we could revolutionize food production, create jobs, and build a sustainable future. 🌱 Instead, all the money goes to Big Ag and Big Pharma—the very companies that created this problem. They poison the land, workers, and neighbors for generations, while getting rich from slow “fixes” that don’t really fix anything. Small farmers with real solutions are left out. If we had funding, we could scale, employ more people, and compete with the mega farms. 10,000 small farms would hire 100x the people of just 5 giant farms. We need to stop funding the multinational cartels that bankrupted our countryside and start investing in people. The HHS & USDA have the money to unlock a true farming revolution if they shift priorities and support those who never poisoned their communities. DIY robots that farmers can build, fix, and upgrade cheaply are key to scaling with an aging farmer population and cutting down on pesticides. The answer is simple: Invest in small farmers, not the corporations that are destroying our land. We can literally solve this problem with light (lasers) and CITIZEN lead projects.
