@PhillyPolice The city needs new gun laws. The existing gun laws just aren’t working. Where are the politicians to profit from this lie? If the existing gun laws were prosecuted, things such as this would rarely happen. 💁🏻‍♂️

I’ve been wanting to share this footage for a while. It was from when I was going in bloc. I think it’s important to have out there because it shows how out-of-control and dangerous this area is because it’s not being policed. A local live streamer was very close to pulling his gun on someone who was pretending like he had a gun. But he actually had a baton. I had no idea if he had a gun or not but could see he had what looked like a sidearm.

What we know. He was resisting law enforcement. They were trying to pin him down. Officers started to scatter at the time a shot was fired. This was followed by a flurry of gun fire. The suspect had a gun on him with an extra magazine and is now dead.

Skrilla is speaking out after being arrested for allegedly shooting a police officer with a toy gun during a music video shoot earlier this month. The Philadelphia rapper is facing multiple charges, including aggravated assault, simple assault, possession of an instrument of crime and recklessly endangering another person, for allegedly shooting a police officer with a water pellet gun on Aug. 16. He has since been released on bond. In an exclusive video shared with XXL, Skrilla explains that he was filming a music video in the Kensington section of Philadelphia and several kids were playing with water bead Orbeez guns. "While the kids were playing, shooting at each other. I decided to be a part of the game, playing with them," Skrilla says. "Everybody is shooting at each other with the Orbeez guns. We having a good time." Skrilla says he began shooting the gun in the air and at other people, which prompted police who were monitoring the scene to intervene and arrest him. A spokesperson for the Philadelphia Police Department tells XXL Skrilla was arrested after he fired the toy gun and struck a nearby officer "in the chest, face and neck." "The charges, I feel like they were unnecessary," continues Skrilla, who is facing decades in prison if convicted of aggravated assault on a police officer. does anybody else see a bullet at the time of the first audible shot in this? it looks like it ricochets right off too, almost at the exact angle of repose and relative to the gun. so one agent says "gun", one removes it, and it fires? then other agents hear this and just unload -- which is indefensible. that's why they panic and say "where's the gun" "he has the gun" the gun was fired while it was in the custody of the guy who's running off. they know they fucked up in real time

Yes on the videos we have so far. The initial encounter was him filming them. There was no gun being brandished. They jumped out of vehicles to go to try to intimidate him. Unfortunately there's no video yet between then and when they had them on the ground. When they had him on the ground they were pistol whipping him, at first it looked like a baton, but it's actually a gun. They had him down with at least five officers. You got to wait for a second so he tried to stand up they shot him in the back he was motionless after they shot him in the back. Then there were four more shots or more after that unloaded into his body from a posture of standing above him. Not a defensive posture. He's supposedly has a gun. It looks like ICE took something out of a holster. So it's likely that he did have a HOLSTERED GUN in an open carry state that is not a reason to shoot someone to death. He was not brandishing it -- again it was his camera. That was the reason for the initial approach was to intimidate him about his camera. It is perfectly legal to film ice This is out not murder once again. Now there is some sort of speculation on social that a gun was dropped and a bullet went off. That would be the ICE AGENTS who took the gun out of his holster. I'll post some videos for people to see in the order that they happened.
