Bruins fan here…. But I’m gonna say he blew the whistle because he lost sight of the puck and assumed the goalie had it. Just a guess.

It was also shocking when the Lightning filled their diapers over a clean play and then manipulated the refs into taking our best player off the ice while trailing and not giving us a 2 man advantage all the while Point ended up missing a grand total of two shifts.
