i honestly thought that he was a she.

My boy had the same thing going on. He wanted to grow his hair out to donate it to cancer patients. He seen an ad on tv when he was 3 and asked and I told him so he said he wanted to grow it out, cut it 4 years later. Hair donated. Proud father moment.

I can't believe some people calling this trauma. This is a child. Let parents, be parents. He's getting his hair cut, he's not being abused, nor is he traumatized. Soon, you won't allowed to raise your own child without critics mouthing off rubbish. The boy is fine.
